Into the White
Geoff K. Stallings
Geoff looks to be a late 20’s male of Irish decent. He is about 5’11", well toned with sun tanned skin, reddish-brown, though slightly graying, hair and pale blue eyes. His body bears many scars that bear witness to the harsh life of living in the wastes. His hair is unevenly cut by knife and he shaves even less frequently, so he usually has a short unkempt beard. He wears a pair of leather pants made of cured brahein hide and stitched together with various bits of wire and leather “string.” He has a nice pair of boots he took off a man he found dead in the wastes and wears the remains of the terry cloth robe (which he cut off to make shorter and covered in tarnished metal stars) he escaped ESPOSEC in as a jacket.
Geoff was a Fire Fighter in the Philadelphia Fire Department, which he joined after the tragic events of 9-11. At the time of the fall of the twin towers he was in college studying architecture and structural engineering but felt instead of bitching about what had happened that day he would “put up or shut up” and joined the Fire Department as he thought that was where he could do the most good for his country and the city he called his home. During his years of civil service he worked his way through the various fields within the Department. He took the various first responder, EMT, and Paramedic courses, worked as hose man, drove the trucks, and even worked the motor pool, as best as he can remember. As the log years in stasis and the process it self as he later learned made it hard to recall portions of his past. In 2010 he was 28, though after a new memory surfaced out of the memory loss caused by the stasis, he recollects his age is roughly 33 years. His last memories while vague, are that of Doctor visits and being given an award for reaching tens years of dedicated service.
